Florence

We are enjoying our last day in Florence. We just finished an incredible lunch/dinner of bistecco florintino at our favourite restaurant in Florence, Accademia. We have enjoyed our five days except those involving
long lines at many of the tourist sites. One of our favorite spots is Il fratinelli, We call it the hole in the wall.  It has the best sandwiches and wine /beer in the area. I'll post the link later. We really enjoyed our side trips to Pisa and Lucca. I walked along the wall and Tom rode a bike. It was awesome.  As well we visited the Uffitzi and the Palazzo Pitti  - remarkable art and architecture. We also took trips to Friesole to see one of the hill towns. Florence has been wonderful.  We are off to the Almafi Coast in a short time. I'll write later!
